MARFA, TX
I recently went to Marfa, TX with Justin Clemons as a assistant / international model on a shoot for Texas Monthly. I always have a good time working with Justin and this time was no different. This shoot was of Donald Judd's work "100 Untitled Works in Mill Aluminum" at The Chinati. The way down involved speeding ticket, failed photo idea = carcass flies in the car, custom cowboy hat, and Hunger Games. Once we arrived in Marfa we checked into Hotel Paisano and then headed to the shoot. The shoot went great, though the place was literally like a sauna but Justin's shots looked ridiculous so it was worth it in the end. Hopefully you will see me in Texas Monthly sometime soon. I'll post a link to that spread when it is published. The rest of the trip involved this list of events, chicken and waffles @ Miniature Rooster, Hue Beer, Cigar @ The Paisano = Fail, The Squeeze Coffee, Cochineal, 2D Gallery, natural spring swimming, and Hunger Games. It was about 1,142 miles in two days, and I'm already looking forward to going back. Here are some photos from the trip.
